How to use it
- Add your images. GIF, BMP and AVIF files that your browser can open also work.
- Choose the output format: JPG, PNG or WebP.
- For JPG and WebP, set the quality. For JPG, choose the color that replaces transparent areas.
- Process the images and download them one by one or as a ZIP.
Tips
- JPG has no transparency. Transparent areas of a PNG become the background color you choose, white by default.
- WebP is usually smaller than JPG at the same visible quality and supports transparency. Almost all current browsers and apps open it.
- Converting a JPG to PNG does not restore quality that JPG already lost. The file will usually just become larger.
- Pictures from some phones may be in HEIC. Only browsers that can display HEIC will open them here.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert PNG to JPG?
Add your PNG files, choose JPG as the output format, set the quality (90 is a good default) and process. Transparent areas are filled with the background color.
Can I convert many files at once?
Yes. All files in the list are converted with the same settings, and you can download them together as a ZIP.
Will the conversion keep my EXIF data?
No. The converted files do not include camera data such as the location, which is also good for privacy.
